Herbalife Appoints Steve Henig to New Post of Chief Scientific Officer

Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE:HLF) announces the appointment of Steve Henig, Ph.D. to the newly-created post of chief scientific officer with responsibility for the company's product research and development function.

Henig will report to CEO Michael O. Johnson. His responsibilities will include setting Herbalife's R&D direction; product innovation and development; scientific and medical affairs; product safety and efficacy; and leadership of Herbalife's Scientific Advisory Board, which is chaired by David Heber M.D., Ph.D.
